Anthony Bollotta

A graduate of Syracuse University, Anthony has a BFA with an emphasis in musical theatre. As a San Diego area based producer/director, Anthony is the President of Bollotta Entertainment, a 16-year entertainment production and booking company specializing in corporate entertainment. Nationally recognized in the events community as an innovator in the field of entertainment, Anthony has won numerous awards for his work, including the prestigious Creative Director of the Year Award from Event Solutions Magazine, the PETCO Chairman’s Award, and Hotel Motel Association’s Allied Person of the Year Award.

His production credits include Open House and Press Events for Microsoft, and opening General Sessions for Qualcomm, PETCO, Credit Union Services Organization (CUSO), and SEKO Worldwide. He is also the director of CBS Interactive’s NOW Awards (in conjunction with Comic Con), and the producer of the USS Midway Museum’s annual gala, and the San Diego BBB Torch Awards. Anthony has also produced private concerts/appearances starring the late Nell Carter, Shirley Jones, David Cassidy, the Goo Goo Dolls, Jay Leno, Michael McDonald, The Beach Boys, LIVE, Frankie Valli, and Natalie Cole.

In 2002, Anthony was asked to write and teach an Event Entertainment curriculum for the University of San Diego’s Event Management Certification Program. In 2003 and then again in 2008, he was named Educator of the Year. He continues to teach the course on an annual basis, as well as speak at industry conferences throughout the region and the United States.

On the community front, Anthony has produced events for the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club’s UCSD Fundraiser, the George G. Glenner Alzheimer Center, The Human Dignity Foundation, the Child Abuse Prevention Foundation, and YMCA’s Youth & Family Services. He sits on the board of Home Start, a 37-year old organization dedicated to the prevention of child abuse, is a Big Brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters, and a 2003 LEAD San Diego graduate.
